While studying power series today, I found myself in an algebraic-type of question.

Let $a_n$ be a sequence of complex numbers.
Let $a_n$ be such that $\lim_{n \to \infty} a_n = 0$.
Let $\lim_{n \to \infty} a_n^{1/n}$ be a complex number $b$.
I want to find a number $x$ such that $b = x^n$.
So I came up with the following.
I claim that for every $n \in \mathbb{N}$, $\exists x \in \mathbb{C}$ such that $x^n = b$.
To see why that’s true, notice that for every $n \in \mathbb{N}$, we have that $0 < a_n < b$. So there exists an $x \in \mathbb{C}$ such that $a_n = b - x$ for every $n \in \mathbb{N}$. But since $\lim_{n \to \infty} a_n = 0$, we have that for every $n \in \mathbb{N}$, $0 < b - x = a_n < b$. So this proves the claim. Now the question is, can this number $x$ be found? A: \$\forall n \in \mathbb{N}
